Yeah, there were. The Al Bhed did...which is what I am. It was actually my job to find and learn how they worked up until two years ago.

People still don't trust it though, even after trying to teach people about it. So all that can go on now is reusing the old machina and making them into machines. But that's where I stop, and Gippal takes over.
