[So somebody left a dead body in the water today...

Well...not exactly, although it is understandable to think so when someone's under water for more than five minutes, unmoving, very roughed up (Cuts and bruises, mostly from her shoulders up. A great deal of them are on her face and back of her neck), only in her swimsuit and skirt, and so on.

Though if one waits before doing anything, every seven or so minutes she does come up for air...though easy to miss because she just barely floats up enough to do so before going back down.

(She can be found in any sort of water. The river, lake, or even the fountain if need be.)


Much later in the day though, after freaking out so many people, she can be seen wondering around the village with only a loose open shirt added to her outfit. She won't hesitate to stare straight at anybody walking by, or following anybody just to see where they are going. In fact she looks like she's just found a whole new world, and everything about it is very interesting.

Even the trees are making her smile.]

[He blinks slowly, tilting his head to one side. Maybe it's a matter of particular blonds important to his life that inspire him to say what he does.]

Do you understand them? Maybe you were an engineer of some kind.

I don't know...I feel like I can make things. But I also feel like I could use a weapon.

[It's just something she can feel. It's a bit odd.]

[Leon laughs shortly at that, ears flicking in a show of amusement.]

Fighting and engineering don't have to be mutually exclusive. One of my friends from home spent all her time tinkering on machines and designed a robot to help her fight.

[Oh, cat ears. She didn't notice them until now. But they make her smile.]

Maybe I can do something cool like that.

[He notices the smile, but assumes it has something to do with the idea of tinkering on machines and such.]

Maybe. I guess you've got a lot of time to figure some things out. And who knows? Maybe your memory will come back really quickly.

[Keep thinking that. But everyonce and a while she'll go back to staring at those ears. She can't help it.]

I hope so...not knowing who I am is really creepy.

You seemed pretty upbeat despite not remembering anything, just looking around the village. 'Seems likely that'd be a part of your original personality.

I hope so. Being happy and curious feels normalish to me. But I'd rather learn what I can do, and things I'm supposed to know. All I've gotten so far is that I'm great shape, can hold my breath for a really long time, and I'm good at swimming.

...Not the most important things.

Sure they are. They're a start.

[He gestures a little bit to the village around them.]

Being curious is especially going to help you out right now; you'll be more willing to put yourself into new situations that could help with learning new things. Maybe you try out a video game and find out you're good at it -- you learn you're good at hand-eye coordination, picking up on situational rules... Or, you know, you can surmise you've probably played video games before.

[He blinks at the question, then grimaces. Way to jump right into the complicated stuff.]

...You probably haven't seen a TV yet, huh?

Nope. I've been outside almost all day.

Well, they aren't really common in the village, but if you go to the rec center, there's a TV over there. You play video games on a TV.

[After situating himself, he points over towards the rec center on the other side of the road.]

...Actually, I'd suggest looking at the rec center just to see what kinds of things are there in general. There's lots of indoor entertainment there.

...I could probably show you how to use some of 'em sometime. They're probably not among the most important things to worry about right now, though.

I do. A boy named Seventeen said I could for a while.

That's good. I mean, if you've actually been here awhile and you have stuff somewhere, it would be better if you could remember where you used to live, but that ... would take awhile.

[Where would one even start with that?]

Did you get all your questions answered about where you can find food, clothing, and such?

I would go around asking about that, but I don't know how that would turn out.

[Some people might get annoyed/weirded out at a random girl asking if they think she lives near them.]

Yeah, food and clothes. But I don't know what kind of clothes I usually wear. [She's good at swimming, which is possibly the reason she woke up in a swimsuit and skirt. But she just put on a loose shirt so people might not stare.] I was told exploring is would be the best thing to do to find other places.

There should be some maps in the Welcome Center that will help you get around, if you really intend to explore. It'd keep you busy for awhile; the enclosure isn't huge, but it'd take a few days to really hike around it.

[But on the topic of clothes...]

Er. Maybe you can "explore" the clothing shop, too.

Are there any interesting places in the woods? [Because really, that seems like the neatest place to explore!

And that remark gets her to look at her clothes, and back at him. Is it not normal to walk around like this? It's comfy...though she could use shoes.]

In the woods? I wouldn't say so, but I'm not really into taking long walks into the forest and such. There's two lakes, and you can follow the rivers over to them.

[When she asks the simple question about clothes, he lets out a small laugh.]

Well, you can't just wear the same thing every single day. You're gonna need something else to wear tomorrow.

Really? How big are the lakes?! [Ohyes, because she knows she's good at swimming, and it's quite fun.

But at that she gives an awkward laugh, along with a face that says 'whoops'.]

I didn't even think about that.

They're pretty huge. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to swim across either of them if I tried. If you're really into the water, you can go to the ocean sometime, too.

[He gives an awkward little smile to her laugh, but shrugs.]

You'll get the hang of things. Like I said, it's good that you're curious.
