[It has already been snowing for a day before Rikku decided it would be interesting enough to go out and see. She really isn't a big fan of the cold. In fact, she would rather be back home in the desert, but it's pretty enough to make it okay to go outside.
She doesn't go far though, but she ends up seated on the ground, right in front of the fountain. For a while she's just playing with the snow, but she's a quick learner when it comes to making snowmen. But she just can't leave it there, she has to add ice to the mix...The end result is a snowman surrounded by a clear ball of ice neatly sitting on the edge of the fountain....and it's a fairly decent size.
Hopefully people like pretty ice things.
Later in the day, when she's back being nice and warm in her room]
I have a weird request. Would anybody be good at cutting holes in some clothes for my wings while I'm wearing them? It's sorta confusing to explain, but it would be very helpful, and I promise I will do something for you in return...since there's no money here. I just really don't want to have them binded again...that hurt.

You cut it into shapes. Or cut shapes into it.
no subject
So it's like a backwards way to make a sand castle.
[Yes, a sand castle. She lives in the desert, and has made many of them.]
no subject
But really his main thought's, Are you going to do anything to the ice or not?]
no subject
Her knifes are stronger than you might think...and she's been messing with fire magic.]
oh geez, i'm so sorry for the long wait
Cheater!!1!That's a start. He's curious to see what she'll do next with the ice not-quite-globe, so he's keeping an eye on her as he finishes his dolphin snow sculpture, intending to possibly interfere if she cannot come up with more improvements to the ice.]
S'okay!
No! It's called being awesome! She'll make a few cuts, the fire magic possibly visible around her knives, but she's only doing it so nothing cracks where she wouldn't want it to. And when she done, it looks like a decent outline of a castle.]
no subject
For your first time, it's good.
[That's about as close to approval as she's going to get from him. His gaze flickers to the daggers.]
Did you use magic for that?
no subject
Uh-huh! I've been learning fire magic since I got here.
[She'll even be using it to smooth out the edges of the castle, so it'll actually look like one.]
no subject
He keeps his gaze on her handiwork, though he asks, voice flat.]
You couldn't learn it at home?
no subject
[She has her white magic, and that was really enough. But it is freaking cold here, especially for someone who likes the desert more, and fire magic sounded like it could come in handy.]
no subject
How are you learning it here?
[Haruka vaguely recalls some mention of spirits in Luceti, but he's never looked further into that, even if Trunks had shown interest in it.]
no subject
[And she knows how to deal with mean people, so a mean spirit wasn't to bad.]
no subject
Did you learn ice magic here, too?
no subject
no subject
Kinda rude but that's just how he is.]
no subject
What? No 'oh hey, by the way my name is this, and I can make really cool snow sculptures.'
Not nice!
no subject
He's not going to stop walking off unless she makes him stop.]
no subject
no subject
She didn't.
Haruka stops. There is simply no way he's taking that lying down. Oh no. Is it a snowball fight she wants? Well even if she doesn't, she's totally going to get one.
Crouching, he packs his own snowball, and when he turns, he returns fire!
...Though it's probably easy to avoid since it's fairly easy to see it coming.]
no subject
She did!
And she's already making another to chuck at him when he turns around, right before ducking behind his snow sculpture...should be safe...
WILL YOU HIT IT FOR REVENGE?!]
no subject
After all, the sculpture is going to melt in time, anyway.
Haruka's snowball sails through the air. He has pretty good aim, but it still clips the edge of his dolphin's dorsal fin. He's not just going to stand there, though, ducking around the other side of the frozen fountain.]
no subject
But she won't stand there for to long before ducking behind her side of the fountain, and start making extra snowballs.]
So it takes a snowball to the back of your head to really get your attention?
no subject
While she'd been busy staring at his now slightly wrecked sculpture, Haruka had been making ammunition. Snowball ammunition. And he has one in his hand, ready for throwing the moment he sees her come out from behind her cover.]
no subject
And he's lucky. She's never been in a snowball fight, and doesn't know it's bad to stick her head out to figure out where he is.]
no subject
Especially when there's a snowball headed right for the side of her head.]
